I'll tell you why. There is something deep inside your soul that

craves freedom.

Freedom from the mundane, the same old, same old, the 9 to 5, the status quo, the job that you have to go to. You want freedom from excuses.

You have desires, dreams, goals, ideas, and all sorts of other things that have

lived dormant

for far too long.

As a child you dreamed of what you could be. People would ask you the question, what do you want to be when you grow up?

You would answer them with excitement and wonder!!!!! Your answer expanded, enlarged, and EXPLODED with potential.

It also changed as often as the weather.

One day you wanted to be an artist, another day you wanted to dance in a parade, the next day you wanted to be a fire fighter, then a teacher, an astronaut, a professional athlete.

One thing was certain you were alive. Curiosity was your best friend. You and curiosity bonded at a deep level. You would ask large questions about the way things worked. You would sit down and chat with your favorite stuffed friends for hours.

Your imagination was

alive,

and KICKING!

You tried things

You didn't really care what others thought.

YOU WERE FREE

And then...

YOU QUIT

You gave up.

You put the stuffed animals and silly drawings away.

YOU STARTED DOING ADULT THINGS

And with each passing day it got easier to quit.

That's not entirely true. It was really hard to quit. You missed the good ole' days.

You would say things like, if only I could be a kid again.

No, no, no, you would say to yourself. I can't go back there.

You had to stop yourself from thinking, dreaming, setting impossible goals because after all you were an adult now and you had responsibilities.

Those dreams were fun, but let's be real, they aren't for me.

So you took the journal, the idea, the dream and you placed it on a bookcase somewhere never to look at it again.

You traded curiosity, adventure, risk, imagination, innovation, and excitement for

A NUMB

DEAD FEELING

Douglas Macarthur once said, "Age wrinkles the body.

Quitting wrinkles the soul."

The reality is you don't really want to quit.

You want your soul to be on

FIRE AGAIN!

Which is why you clicked that button.

I'm gonna say something that you are going to probably be mad at me for but it makes it no less true.

QUIT, QUITTING

DUST OFF YOUR SUPER HERO CAP

and let's launch you

if you want to stop quitting and get back to what you were meant to do
